The sculpture had a new armature put in place and the pieces were carefully reinstated, The whole of the sculpture was suffering from minor corrosion which was sensitively removed and the whole thing cleaned with a non-ionic detergent prior to colour matching of the joins and infills and a microcrytaline wax finish.
